Steve graduated from the University of Maine at Orono (UMO) in 1984 with both a B.S. in Civil Engineering and A.S. in Civil Engineering Technology. He was also a member of Chi Epsilon, the national civil engineering honor society. While attending UMO, he gained invaluable experience working for a local geotechnical engineering consulting firm as a soils/concrete field and laboratory testing technician and performed some geotechnical engineering. After graduation, Steve worked for two consulting engineering firms doing structural engineering, design, and investigations. He also completed UMO’s Bridge Engineering course CIE0548 in the fall of 1996. Steve decided to start SRG in 2001 to develop a diversified engineering practice. He is licensed in ME, CT, CO, MA, NH, NJ, NY, MD, PA, RI, TN, VA & VT.
